Kidtrack biometric system keeps track of kids on school buses

Kidtrack identifies young bus-riders by reading the unique vein patterns of their palms

(This numbering and tracking system just keeps expanding.....now we see how Revelation 13 can come to pass:  "no one will be able to buy or sell without the mark, which is the number of the beast")

A lot of parents worry when their kids first start taking the school bus by themselves. What if they’re snatched from the bus stop? What if they get off at the wrong stop? What if the bus is hijacked? Well, while the Kidtrack system can’t keep any of those things from happening, it can at least keep track of which children are on which buses, and where.
Kidtrack was developed through a collaboration between Fujitsu Frontech North America, and IT/logistics company T&W Operations.

A New Muslim Vision: Rebuilding Solomon’s Temple Together | The Jewish Press

The Temple as seen in the Holyland Model of Jerusalem, a 21,520 sq. ft., 1:50 scale-model of the city of Jerusalem in the late Second Temple Period.

(We have wondered how the way will be made for the Temple to be rebuilt on the Temple mount...well, this is interesting!!!!)

To cast believers out is a heinous and cruel policy, an offense not only to men, but to Islam.
As a devout Muslim, I take pleasure when Jews pray to Almighty God, and their praying anywhere in the world, including at the Temple Mount, would be a glad tiding for me as well.

As a devout Muslim, it would be a joy for me to see Prophet Solomon’s Temple rebuilt as well. No, you did not hear me wrong. Prophet Solomon’s Temple being rebuilt in all its magnificence and glory would be a great delight for me, as it would be to any Muslim. Under different circumstances, in an atmosphere of trust, love and brotherhood, Muslims would welcome this with enthusiasm. The Temple of Solomon is also a historically important place, and rebuilding it would be a wonderful occasion for all believers to contemplate. Every Muslim, every believer, will want to experience the spirit of those days again, and strive to bring the beauty of those days back to life. Actually, it is everyone’s aspiration for that city to be adorned, to be beautified, and to regain the magnificent glory it had in the days of the Prophet Solomon.

Upper hand: Anthony Horowitz believes that the internet has unlocked something cruel in humanity

Acclaimed author Anthony Horowitz believes parts of the internet are ‘foul, disgusting and cruel’ and that ‘evil is getting the upper hand’.
In a powerful speech yesterday, the best-selling children’s adventure writer said the web ‘unlocked something quite dark in humanity’.
He said: ‘There is so much in the internet that is foul and disgusting and cruel. It’s an interesting mix.’

Speaking at the Oxford Literary Festival, the Foyle’s War and Midsomer Murders author conceded that the internet was the greatest invention of his lifetime but said it was also frightening.
The 57-year-old creator of the Alex Rider and The Power of Five series said there is a ‘constant struggle within  people themselves and society for good and evil’ and that the internet is part of this.

Mursi warning stirs fears in Egypt opposition | Reuters

Protesters who oppose Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi flee from teargas released by riot police during clashes along a street which leads to the Muslim Brotherhood's headquarters in Cairo's Moqattam district March 22, 2013. REUTERS/Amr Abdallah Dalsh

In remarks following clashes outside the Brotherhood's Cairo headquarters on Friday, Mursi warned that "necessary measures" would be taken against any politicians shown to be involved in what he described as violence and rioting.

"If I am forced to do what is required to protect this nation, then I will do it. And I fear that I might be on the verge of doing it," Mursi said in a statement. He did not elaborate.
Mursi has faced increasing anger since the Brotherhood propelled him to power in a June election, and several spates of protest have turned into violent riots.
Mursi's opponents accuse him and the Brotherhood of seeking to dominate the post-Hosni Mubarak era and resorting to undemocratic police powers two years after autocrat Mubarak was brought down by popular protests.

A day before Passover, farmers in southern Israel were suffering from another plague of locusts, entering the country from Egypt with biblical timing.
The pests hit fields and greenhouses in the south; the Agriculture Ministry was working to prevent heavy damage to crops in the Negev and stop the insects from penetrating deeper into the country.

Google says the technology can tell you the weather forecast, provide directions, send messages and translate. Researchers at Duke University have developed an app called Insight that can identify people by ''visual fingerprints'' such as their clothes, body shape and motion patterns.

According to University of Wollongong associate professor Katina Michael, it will allow wearers to ''share visual surveillance in real-time with people in underground networks of all sorts - for the distribution of child pornography, for grooming, cyberstalking, voyeurism and even for corporate fraud''.
Its arrival has caught the attention of Australian Privacy Commissioner Timothy Pilgrim. He said he had requested a briefing from Google on how it would address privacy concerns.
