Islamic fireworks in America

Masada al Mujahideen, a Palestinian jihadist group, has claimed credit for massive wildfires in Arizona in a statement posted on jihadist forums.

The statement boasted that 19 firefighters had been killed in Arizona, took credit for previous wildfires in Nevada and warned that Masada al Mujahideen would light more wildfires in the United States in the future.
The statement was entitled “Masada al-Mujahideen Fulfilled its Promise and Attacked America Again After the Expiration of the Period with Fires that Achieved Historic Results” and was obtained and translated by the Search for International Terrorist Entities (SITE) Intelligence Group.
Setting wildfires to sow as much terror, destruction and death as possible is something that al Qaeda has long advocated because it views the setting of fires as a form of jihad or holy war and it published an article in the spring 2012 edition of its online magazine entitled “It Is of Your Freedom to Ignite a Firebomb” which gave instructions on how to build bombs to set forests on fire.
If Masada al Mujahideen’s claim is true it is a portent of things to come, of more and more fires being set in the future and more and more destruction and death as a result of fires lit by them or their fellow Islamists.
