| US Secretary of State John Kerry met with King Abdullah II of Jordan in order to discuss peace negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians, and the crisis in Syria, reported Jordan's official news agency Petra on Tuesday. According to the report, the king asserted Jordan's continued support for the peace efforts to establish an independent Palestinian state on the basis of the 1967 lines with east Jerusalem as its capital. |
